Are you looking for a fun game to keep your little ones entertained on your downtime while at the hotel? The reality of traveling with kids is that you can’t be out and on the go all day. You will end up spending downtime at your hotel. This is especially true when traveling with young kids. Which is why I had my husband design some easy to pack printable games to entertain the kids during those necessary down times.  His latest game (geared especially toward our youngest kids) is a fun travel-themed memory matching game.

 

 

This game comes as a multi-page ready to print PDF file with 18 matching sets. Each game square is cut along with it’s back so that you can fold in half and glue in the center to make a two-sided game piece.  You can print at home with a color printer or at a professional copy center. since each. You can print on standard paper. since it’s double thickness makes it more durable. If you want to really make it durable for multiple uses you can print on cardstock or even laminate.

I love memory matching games because they don’t require any adult oversight and are very easy for even really young kids to play. Additionally, they require any extra tokens (like our BINGO games). Best of all kids love it.  It is always fun to see the joy on my kids faces every time they find a matching set while playing.

 

 

Kids can play this game alone or together with siblings. For really young kids you can set up with fewer sets to make it easier to play and for older put them all out.  Either way, your kids will enjoy it.
