DIY Disney Autograph Book (with Free Printables & SVG Cut Files)

Looking for a cute Disney Autograph Book for your kids to use on your next Disney Vacation?

Going on a Disney Vacation is such a magical experience for families. Especially children. One of the fun things for kids to do on Disney Vacations (Whether at Disney Land, Disney World or even Disney Cruise) is to meet their favorite Disney Characters.  You can make the experience even more magical for your kids by helping them collect the signatures of these favorite characters in a Disney Autograph Book after meeting each one.

Can you imagine your sweet kids telling friends and family about their recent Disney Vacation and being able to pull out their personal Autograph Book to show who they met? “And this is Cinderella’s Autograph,  and this is Rapunzel’s….”

I love this Printable Disney Autograph book that I had my husband design for our kids to use on our next Disney Vacation and I just had to share it. This way you can use it on your next Disney Vacation as well! My husband designed the book to be a quarter of a page to make it more convenient for your kids to carry around.  Though the pages are filled with the silhouettes of various Disney characters for a cool look, you can have each character sign whichever page you want.

This download for is a standard PDF file that is ready to print at home or at your local copy center.  While the cover to this Disney Autograph book is in color the pages are designed in black and white for convenience. If you want to make it more colorful and fun I suggest printing the pages of the autograph book on bright colored paper. **The printable makes 2 books.

When I saw the finished printable I loved it but told my husband I wanted to take it to the next level by using my Cricut Maker to make a custom Faux Leather cover.  So he designed an SVG file to make the cover and I was right it looked amazing!  When I made the books I made 2 (since the printable makes two books) One I did with a Blue Faux Leather cover and Silver Foil Iron-on and the other I did in a Redish brown cover with gold Iron-on to see which I liked the best. For those who have a Cricut machine and want to make a DIY Faux Leather Cover for this Printable AutoGraph Book, I have put the step by step instructions below:

DIY Faux Leather & Foil Iron-on Cover for Disney Autograph Book

This DIY Tutorial is to make your own nice Leather (and Foil Iron-on) Covers to go with our Free Printable Disney Autograph Book.

Instructions

  • Download Free SVG Cut Files for Disney Autograph Book -->HERE
  • Upload file into Design space. Size should be 8.4x5.5

  • Ungroup (move the cover part over) Select all the design details and attach. (so that the Cricut cuts them out in the layout desired)

  • Select all and copy (changing the color of the second cover to blue and details to silver) **This is where you can remove any part of the design you don't want to include.

  • Click make it button & Reverse image on the iron-on decals

  • Select Foil Iron-on as the material and place Silver Iron-on on a standard mat shiny side down.

  • After Cutting use weeding tool to weed out excess iron-on
  • Repeat for Goil Foil Design

  • Change material to regular Iron-on, make sure you have the fine point blade in the tool holder and place on a standard grip mat shiny side down.

  • After Cutting use weeding tool to weed out excess iron-on

  • Select Faux Leather from the Materials, Place place Deep Cut Blade in the Tool Holder and place the Blue Faux leather on a Strong Grip Mat

  • After cutting remove from the mat and then Repeat for Brownish Red Faux Leather
  • Heat your Easypress 2 to 255 & Press the Faux Leather (on the Easypress mat) for 5 seconds to heat it.

  • Place the Iron-on design on the Faux Leather and then press with gentle pressure for 30 seconds

  • Peel off when cooled.

  • Attach Faux Leather cover to printable sheets with staples down the middle.

Notes

  • The most difficult part of making these covers is weeding the Iron-on Design so take your time. If you are still having roblems weeding the fine design I recomend using the Cricut Brightpad to see the cut design better. You can also use a standard Gold everyday Iron-on in place of the Gold Foil Iron-on (which is a bit easier to weed and still looks great)
  • For those who do no have a Cricut to make these amazing DIY covers the Free Printable does come with a printable version of the covers.

Whether you just use the free printable or you go the extra mile to make the custom Faux Leather Cover, I hope you enjoy this Disney Autograph book for your kids on your next Disney Vacation.
